Tidal Wave x Melmac is an ultra-potent hybrid cross of two famous Psilocybe cubensis lineages—Tidal Wave (Penis Envy x B+) and Melmac (an original, direct isolate of Homestead Penis Envy).

Genetics and Lineage

Tidal Wave Parent: Known for holding record-high psilocybin levels in formal testing and producing wavy caps with dense stems.
Melmac Parent: A legendary variant derived from original Penis Envy genetics, famous for thick stems, large bulbous bases, and high potency.
The Cross: Combining these two heavy-hitting lines creates a hybrid expected to yield exceptionally high concentrations of psychoactive tryptamines (psilocybin and psilocin).

Potency and Risks

Extreme Potency: Standard Psilocybe cubensis strains average 0.5% to 1.0% total tryptamines by dry weight. Lineages involving Tidal Wave and Penis Envy/Melmac derivatives frequently test well above 2% to 3%+.
Dosing Danger: Because they often look like ordinary mushrooms, consuming a standard gram weight (such as 2–3 grams) can deliver an overwhelming, hyper-potent experience akin to much heavier doses.
